Pockie Ninja II Original is a fully licensed Naruto, Bleach and One Piece MMO featuring storylines and characters from each of the popular anime series. The game allows players to step into the shoes of a plethora of their favourite anime characters at any time during gameplay, thanks to an innovative outfit-based class system that lets players assume the role and associated powers of any character they own by simply equipping new outfits.
Despite the many unique characters and powers on offer, bombs are still the most frequently used attacking skill in Pockie Ninja II Original, with ninjas often turning to them for their high trigger rate and zero reliance on Chakra. But using bombs isn’t always the best tactic. Sometimes, the results can be explosively bad.
Effective use of bombs in Pockie Ninja II Original is all about timing. Get it wrong and the bomb will bounce back, causing more damage to the player who threw it than the opponent.
The chance of a bomb bouncing back is significantly lower in PVE than in PVP combat, a feature put in place to make Pockie Ninja II Original’s huge bosses easier to defeat. Excessive use of bombs in PVP is unlikely to end well for even the most agile of ninjas.
Bomb bouncability increases the longer a fight goes on – an especially useful tip for any PVP ninja to remember. Players might land lucky with a few bombs in the first round of combat, but in round 5? It might just blow up in their face.
A carefully considered choice of character and skills is the real key to mastering the art of bombs in Pockie Ninja II Original’s PVP. Characters with high HP ratings are the safest choice, especially when it comes to soaking up the damage of an unwelcome bounce back. Players entering battles as agility or attack-focused character should probably think twice before reaching for the explosives.
