Grandendroit, the indie-dev team behind the exciting new auto-runner Death Boulder Bones, has released a new demo in conjunction with their ongoing Kickstarter campaign. The game is a new take on the popular runner genre, featuring a never before seen indirect control scheme, a key factor in DBB placing as one of the top three finalists in season two of IGN’s Next Game Boss. The demo is available immediately on Mac, Windows, and Linux. With a positive early response from players and critics alike, the game is expected to shake up the moribund runner genre when it releases later this year.
The Kickstarter campaign features a $28,000 goal aimed at purchasing and licensing technology, and allowing the previously part-time developers to work full-time in order to meet a summer release. Additionally, backers will receive a variety of thank-you gifts, including custom figurines, artwork, tee shirts, and in-game digital content.
